Well, did some research on the movie after watching it last night. Never thought it was such a hype on the internet, thought I've been 24 7 online. So little ads here compared to those on the net.
Like what patepete highlighted on the movie, I would like to add some interesting stuff while watching the movie:
-It's like you are in the scene, becoming the cameraman Hudson yourself.
-They don't need catchy music to make the story interesting
-The story is open to interpretation, much like what happened to BWP.
For those who haven't watch it, please take note of this stuff:
-The person who passed out on the party, somehow connected with the viral tie-ins.
-The last scene where the camera shows Rob and Beth together. Do look around the screen.
-Wait for the end credits. Stay until the end. If you can't find anything, head for this link, or watch again.
I got these from this link, where they discussed much about the story and its tie-ins. Do also check those tie-ins as well. It might be a waste of time to some, but it wouldn't harm to find out what is really going on with the story.
And to those who has any idea on where this monster comes from (aside from its creator), do share.
How do you feel like when you're watching the same movie over and over again? If you're a fan of that movie, I'm sure you wouldn't mind. With actors like Nicholas Cage and Jessica Biel, people wouldn't want to miss a single action in the film. Even if you miss watching the actions, you don't have to worry because it will happen again -but in a slightly different manner. Just like a deja vu.
The story is basically about a guy who has the ability to see two minutes of his future. It's something like a spider-sense -albeit spidey's ability cannot clearly see what's really going to happen. He is on a wanted list by the FBI not because of his wrongdoings -but because of his ability that hopefully would save the world from a nuclear threat. However, he believes that he may not be able to do that due to circumstances -especially when it involves his newfound girlfriend. He has this special connection with this lady that he is able to see up to a week of her future. And he finds out that her life is in trouble, that he has to take multiple previsions as to make sure that he can save her as well as the world.
After watching the movie, I found it very interesting with the style they presented when it comes to a particular prevision sequence. At first you may find Cage been shot by a sniper when it is only actually part of his foretelling. This makes the story 'unpredictable', compared to other action movies. This guy's ability also makes him almost impenetrable -ha can dodge bullets, avoid dangers etc., much like other superheroes out there. So I guess you wouldn't want to miss a single action in the movie. Even if happen to miss one, you might have the opportunity to see it again.
After years of waiting finally we can see Mr. Spidey back in action. The teasers and trailers did give a deep feeling on what is going to come out in the final sequel to the trilogy. And it did make me lose patience -as the promo began since July last year. I've always waited for updates on this upcoming movie, just as much as my anticipation to the LP's new album.
Based on Stan Lee's everlasting superhero saga, this final sequel tells us a dark story of Peter Benjamin Parker, where he got the impenetrable venomous power from outer space. Peter, who has once been bitten by a spider to become an NYC superhero, now gets a new power. However, can he overcome the terror unleashed by this new and unknown power? It may be as easy as it thought. The story picks up where it has left - Spidey got the girl, Osborn gets revenge and new enemies coming in to hit the big screen.
The story always amazes me with interesting plot and colourful background of New York City. The costume itself is very much detailed, making it one of the most expensive superhero costumes in history. Hopefully this time I can see more actions and suspense like the first 2 movies.
For those who have read the comics, they should know spidey better. Hopefully the story will not get sidetracked from its original plot as most superhero movies do. Director Sam Raimi had so far managed to keep things on track, as to make sure the story attracted both movie-goers and comic addicts. The only thing controversial may have been the spider-web issue (whether it is naturally acquired or made), but finally resolved by clarifying that so far there is world is not ready to create such powerful and effective spider web. Maybe there are some other issues but so far they do not really affect the whole story.
Spiderman has always amazes me -whether in film, comics and even animation. From Amazing Spiderman to Ultimate Spiderman, the story gets even more interesting even though the plot stays the same.
Spider-man 3 will be out May 1 worldwide May 4 in the US.
