"I have found out that there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them." - Mark Twain
A collaborative project between Kloistero and I. The journey started somewhere around April, and this video was released recently. We were experimenting with narration and Kloistero did lots of editing including putting up special effects. Video is edited using Corel and After Effect. Shots around Salzburg. Special guest Unie who did the narration. This can also be a sequel to this video. Enjoy.

I am halfway through my journey
Seeking for perfection from a vision
Leaving the past way behind
It seems that the engine is still lagging
All the guidance are falling back
Preaches had died out bringing forth delusions
Horrors of life but not just from me
How I missed that traditional life
The serenity
And now they’re recurring again and again
Those unforgiving mistakes
Being surrounded by lies
It’s just too hard to break free
Free from sheer hatred and dishonesty
So hard that we are devoured
By our own mischief
For the sake of mere pleasure
Time forever unforgiving
The road is too far ahead
How I want to look back
At those ever supportive movements
Or are they also fleeing away?
Being just another dead clover
I have forgotten everything
Lost to those lies that are laughing
Forgetting who to trust
Forgetting who to rely on
Forgetting who I am
Forgetting who I am siding with
From bottom up
In the middle of my thought
What's in a screen/user name? Tell us how you found yours.
Submitted by Bill.
Actually there has been a lot of names that I used as a screen name/ username, but not as frequent as the one I'm using now. But well, everything has its own story, and so thus my usernames.
When I was first introduced to the internet, there was a lot of things that I did not understand. One of the most confusing and disputed terms was website. I could not differentiate between a web page and a homepage. That was when I started to know about the use of username, other than for the purpose of connecting to the internet.
I realized that internet was something like a gateway to the world, and I felt like looking for friends everywhere. But I have been reminded not to use a real name, so as not all the people in the world can be trusted. I opened a website and named it "Fiyadh" (that time the news about Dodi al-Fayadh and Princess Diana accident was hot) and designed a logo for myself (that time I didn't know about avatar and such). My website was all about cartoons and comics, and I was hoping that could show my works to everyone (that time considered that time as my "golden age" of artistic expression, though my drawings were super duper terribly horrible). Later I realized that the nick was similar to Fiat, and my logo was almost similar to the soviet one (as I was addicted to Command & Conquer: Red Alert at that time). So I decided to abandon internet for a while.
And there went my Golden Age.
Later I became interested in Starcraft. With its cool editor, I made a few extra missions and decided to upload them on the web.I registered to Geocities and gave the site name as mfn pte ltd. However, Geocities' free web hosting which only provides 10 megs of space, and the game was about 20 megs of space. Thus, I abandoned the use of internet for the second time, hoping that one day I could find a better webhosting.
A few years later I was attracted to writing fictions, and registered in a web host with the nickname "mfn20xx". I started to write stories which were related to the games that I did last time. Soon I reopened my site on geocities and created a new logo for it.
After a while I decided to divide my website into personal and studio sites. That was when I started to register a new site with the username "mfn studio". The reason behind the name was solely for being a place where I can put my horrible art stuff in, while my personal site functions as my personal journal. Later I started to use my studio name more frequently that my friends started calling me by that name = P
However after a few years I started to register in most of the sites with the nick starting with "mfn...". So if you happened to find any art related website with the nick starting with those 3 letters, there is a big probability that it could be me. = )
*MFN are initials of my name.
